clicked in the monsters mouth, then the tunel on the left. gave me some kind of ending with a treasure, but ive done things since then my 2nd time around that i didnt do the first time <\spoiler>

the shrapened blade to cut the tree trunk, gave the french grass to the cow, and he went and got the log for me off the stump

when you get the log, give it to the monkey. click the monkey, then the panda. if you have already given the panda the bamboo, the panda will kick the log in mid air and split it. give the piece of wood you get from the log to the dude on the cloud. click the cloud dude and he lights the pile of wood on fire. click the fire with the match, match is now lit

I think you have to feed the cow with the grass you cut, then click it and it will bring the log to you

put the bait on the dish to the left of the monster, then click the monster (I think...if not, click the bait)
