Common Trek People
It take a special kind of sick individual to post William Shatner's cover of Pulp's "Common People" on "Musical Friday" under the category "cool". Fortunately for you lucky peeps I am that kind of special individual. Enjoy [via op-pop].

I love Shatner's version of "Common People"! And Star Trek! So you've made at least one person quite happy. It's geek cool.

Omg, I SERIOUSLY just got back from the thrift store where I bought some old Star Trek tapes. This completes the awesomeness of my day x3

I have to admit that I love Shatner's take on Common People. In fact, I have the album it's from. My other favorite song is the one he did with Henry Rollins, "I Can't Get Behind That." Shatner's having fun, and doing it well with some big names behind him (including producer/arranger Ben Folds).

Well, just looking at my pen-name, you will all guess that I am a Star Trek fan, and I've been since the beginning in 1966. Here, in Canada, we have the Space channel where I watch all 5 series throughout the day. Thanks Graeme, this snippitt brighten my day.
