Escape Your Boyfriend's Bedroom
The title of this point'n'click game is "Escape Your Boyfriend's Bedroom", so to play you're either going to have to be a). A Lady, b). A gentleman what likes other gentlemen, or c). Comfortable with where you're at. (oh, or d. - not bothered as it's just the title of a game - silly). Any which way the idea of the game is that you are looking after your boyfriend's mouse while he's away. Once in his room, you discover some things about him that tell you he's not someone you should be hanging out with. Yes, that's right, it's time to escape the room [subbed by Mystery & BJ].

OK -- I'm doing something wrong -- if it's so easy, then I'm an idiot (nothing new there). I've done everything -- gotten the new mouse, played the baseball game, and entered this phone number
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Nothing happens.

Oh god. I can't believe they're serious.. While I think a game like this is a silly way to bring attention to domestic violence, I'd at least expect a *good* game. This one rather sucked.

And I let the mouse die once :(

On a separate note, I *heart* Little Britain!

Indeed, I have all 4 number parts too, but I can't get it to work. I've tried it with the mouse being alive and dead.

I agree with you anon. Those players at freenews, do not even understand the propaganda behind this room escape concept. This game gives me the chills.

Surely, there must have been a better way of getting the message across. For anyone who has been in an abusive relationship this could bring back awful memories. Also, for someone who is in an abusive realtionship this is the last game they will want to play. Sorry but I give this a big thumbs down.

Power of posting. I did the same thing three or four times more and the fourth time it worked for no obvious reason.

And it wasn't really worth the trouble anyway. Never mind.

The numbers on the phone were weird for me...I did the code a few times, changing numbers and what not, and then one time I picked it up to start pressing numbers again after looking for more codes in the room and just hit the number 8 and was given a key...

Maybe the phone is buggy.

Either way, I thought this was going to turn in to a horror game for a minute with the break up note in the wall and then the message in paint...but no it is just a public service announcement....

Maybe someone will get the message who really needs it. I wish I had seen it before I had gotten into a relationship that took a long time to recover from...

<spoiler)I had the radio off, the mouse was dead, and I NEVER entered the numbers in order all together. I had the yellow #s and the blue #s and entered them in the phone - nothing. Then the mouse died and there was a box there with the order (I guess) of the numbers in color - pink, yellow, blue. So I figured the #1 and then the numbers from the phone were the rest of the phone number. I went to the phone and entered 1-331 and a key appeared before I even finished the phone number... bug?

Glitchy. Very glitchy. And did anyone figure out a purpose/point to the baseball game? And...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
My mouse lived, I got out fine. When I dialed the phone number, I got 1-866-331 in before it closed out of the phone and the key was on the table. Like I said, glitchy. And the glow paint came on and off, no matter the condition of the lights.

Was there any point to the music besides the glow paint, either?

actually, i have to say i think this game makes a good point. for those who haven't been in an abusive relationship, the game will make no sense perhaps... One of the key characteristics of an abuser is that they blame themselves for NOTHING. Everything that happens to them, they blame on someone else and seek to hurt that person for it. Even if they, say, broke their hand from punching a wall, they would somehow find a way to blame another, usually with "look what you 'made' me do!" Also, a lot of times, they play the "i need your help" card, and are endlessly in trouble, calling for the person they abuse to "save" them, thus keeping them around.

While i agree that this does pull up some negative memories, in my case they also help to strengthen a resolve to never allow myself to be conned and tricked into one of these relationships ever again.

Then again, i also agree that this game should have been done A LOT better. It was very sloppy and seems thrown together.
