click on "items", click on the object you want to use, click on "close". then click on the spot you want to interact.
to combine items :

click on "items", double click on the object and see it on your right, then click once on the 2nd object, see the message "combine/use", then click the 1st object. two objects will be combined. to use a combined object just repeat the above directions...

:I'm having great trouble because there seems to be know way of seeing when you've selected an item for use, and there is no message telling you you've tried the wrong object in that place. I feel completely at sea.

tv screens have 6 green blocks -gym room on 1st floor & game room on 2nd floor- First aid box on 1st floor has 3 purple blocks. On 1st floor, in bedroom, look at the mirror, it has 5 star shaped cracks on it. Turn back from the bedroom on 2nd floor. You'll see 4 blue blocks on the wall. For color sequence you need to open the wardrope with a green hole on it with the key. Get the cd and use it in disco room. Look at the sequence of color. Now it looks like password is 63654... but it's not.... before it, we need to crack 1 more code...
