I found something red (in bambooplant?) found a yellow cutting figure by the cabinet on one of the smiley boxes (used tab) then used yellow figure on middle of red carpet and got a key then opened big box (with panda) and gave the red stuff too panda. The panda went crazy and now there's a safe on the wall

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the card with 10 > 2 could refer to the sequence of numbers between 10 and 2 on the chart. i.e. 21,30,51,62. I have no idea how that would be converted to be used in the safe

Alright, on that sheet with the squares, what are the measurements of the "top" square?

Comment 21, Tuesday, September 4th 2007 02:15:22 PM

Dan B

:
Here's what I think:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
Square dimensions --> number grid --> number for safe code

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
decimal safe code --> binary safe code

Only, I don't know one square's dimensions (the one written in ideograms - I don't know the language).

Any help?

Craig

:
How to get all those numbers to work:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Take the dimensions of the three boxes (7, 9; 2,2; 4,5) and look at the grid for those numbers. Add them together. Then, change the number from decimal (10)->binary(2). Enter that and watch your panda dance!

Oneway

These
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
dimensions
you talked about. I though i saw someone mention in the comments above they can be found
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
on a piece of paper
But i can't find them anywhere!
The above solution by Craig makes perfect sense to me, but without the needed info im stuck! please help.

Comment 24, Tuesday, September 4th 2007 05:05:00 PM

Dan B

:
Oh geez, I thought you had to find the dimensions of that other box on the paper, but yes, the three boxes will give you the correct sum. I guess the first box is explaining how to use the numbers? Anyway, it's all over now, ha.

Thanks,

Dan

I'm obviously more crap at
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
binary
than I thought I was because even with all the really strong hints I can't get out! Can someone give me the solution so that I can see the ending?

Get the mushroom key from under the bed (you might have to use tab to find it), and open the pink box you have. The sheet of paper is in there--it looks like an oversized bingo card.

The Binary Solution:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
There is a piece of that has drawing of boxes on it and their dimesions (7 by 9; 2 by 2; and 4 by 5). You then take these numbers and use it with the piece of paper from the pink box in your inventory that looks like a grid. So it would be #7 across and #9 down and you will stop on a number (In this case 19). Do this for all 3 of those dimesions and you will end up with three numbers (19, 10 and 12). You then add these 3 numbers together to get 41. It is this number that you will convert to binary. The number that I got was
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
00101001
. So you would change the colour of the ones that have a 1. So the code is purple, purple, red, purple, red, purple, purple, red.
