:1.go behind the closet - take map
2.go to door-mat, pull it - yellow key
3. take little metal splint (near the door)
4.open the closet with gold key, take screwdriver, orange key and voltmeter
5.take the crowbar (behind the broom)
6.take oil (behind the bottle)
7.use (a few times) oil on red box(top shelf in the closet), use crowbar - ripper in inwentory is)
8.take leaf
9.take paper ball (on the street)
10. use metal split to open clock on back side - take battery
11. put battery to voltmeter
12. lool at the cabel on the wall ("this cabel coud be helpfull" )
13.go to the fuse box
14.look at the map, the "code" is 241756378,
15.unscrew two bolts
16.open the fuse box
17.use voltmeter on all five places
18.click 4
19. go to the cabel on the wall
20. cut cable using ripper
21. use cable to take the silver key (behind closet)
22. use silver key on the door in front of You

:How do I use the Voltmeter on all 5 places? I have the batteries in the Voltmeter but whever I selects it and put it on the 5 places it says 0 each time. I have to hold the mouse button down to keep it activated and when I release the button it goes back into my inventory. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

Ok now I get the apartment key. Where in the door do I use it> I have tried all of the knob and where a key would normally go

:grrrrrrr..can't get to the right spot on the door with apt key!!!! where is the exact spot to click? I tried what other ppl said ..near to top of door know and lower left but not working!! been clicking hrs!!

Look at the fuse box : Orange blue yellow Grey.
refer to the electric power map; each colour correspond to a number. Thers no grey line in the map, but thers a grey number : 378.
But thats still not the code. u hav to get it all right.
Orange: 24
Blue: 17
Yellow: 56
Grey: 378
In short, the code is 241756378.

Had no trouble until I got to the crowbar/oil/toolbox - I simply can't get oil to work on the crowbar, and without that, no grippers.
I hate to throw in the towel. Up to that point I was solving without aid. A little preflight testing goes a long way toward making a game enjoyable. 'Night all!

I couldn´t get it to work either in the beginning. Then i realized, that objekts stick to your curser in different places if you click them different places. For the oil i managed by clikcing the oilcan in the bottom, and then click so that the point of the oilcan (NOT the curser!) hits the mecanism on the red toolbox. Did it a couple of times and used crowbar and i got the wirecutter.
For the wire and the key click wire in left side use wire on key so that the right side of wire hits the key.

:Handyrman, I'm trying that but it doesn't want to. I'm frustrated now. I've been also trying to unscrew the two bolts with the screwdriver and it's not working.......plse help!

:Regarding the Oil can: There is nowhere that any of the objects stick to your mouse cursor, so you just have to make sure that the top of the oil can goes over the red tool box a few times, and you will then just have to try the crowbar again, to see if you get the gripper.

:I just finished the game, and what a crappy game this was, because it takes several tries with lots of things, even the apartment key, to get things open/done.
Also, what use did that ball of paper from the street have? I never used it. *sigh*
