Onslaught
I'm quite enjoying these "defence" games (see Desktop TD), they quickly and easily fill up a little bit of free time. Onslaught is the latest, but probably not the last, that I've been sent. It looks a bit basic at first, but gets better as you get into it. It is let down by a lack of sound though [subbed by avs5221].

My first go...

Classic
Kills= 930
Shots= 7608
Spend= 43284
Wave= 96
Score= 40,254,120

The Tazer seems to be a waste of time. And what about the 'weapons' that are made available as the game progresses (damageup, rangeup, rateup). Never used one, and not sure how much of a difference they would make. Anyone tried them? And did anyone upgrade to anything else but Damage?

My next go...

Strategy was to only use the Rocket, 13 of them. Upgraded Damage to $1200 on each, and Rate to $340 on most of them. The result...

Classic
Kills= 931
Shots= 7919
Spend= 43345
Wave= 96
Score= 40,354,195

Not much difference than the first go.

I built three turrets then left the game running while I fed the baby and put him down for a nap. When I came back the game was over and I had:
217 Kills, 907 shots, $30 spent, 6510 score.

Seriously, why do people enjoy these games so much? They are B-O-R-I-N-G!!!1

The Point of the game is combining turrets. For example a Red Rocket Launcher fires a Nuke-Rocket if two blue turrets are build beside it. Upgrade the damage of all three turrets to maximum power and place the turrets far enough from the road. The blue turrets should not reach the road.
All available Combos are shown in:"How to play"

Read this and enjoy the game...

Blackhole Combos are really effective but you won´t get money for the killed enemys.
My best result was close to wave 360 !!!

I had no idea these games were to Graeme's liking. I've been playing this one for about a week. Not bad, as they go.
