The Shochu Bar
Great. It's Friday, the weekend is just around the corner, and there's a new Gotmail game, called "The Shochu Bar", for us to point'n'click around today whilst we should be working. That's after we've finished waiting for it to load (point'n'click quality takes time to arrive apparently). The only question is, what is Shochu? [subbed by anon, Mantari, laragosta & Nicop].

Walkthrough:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

1. On the first screen or the second booth, click several times the circle ornament on the wall at the middle of the screen until you get the lemon squeezer.
2. Go to the right booth, click the table left table. You see an empty handle at the left. Click on top of the handle then you see a lantern. Click on the lantern to put it on the bottom handle.
3. Go back to the middle booth, click two times on the right table and then click on the chair. The right chair will be moved and you'll see a shadow of a key. Click it several times to get the key.
4. Get a measuring cup. It is a shiny small device on one of the tables beside the bowl. I figured out that the measuring cup position can be different between games, but it is always on the table.
5. Go back and then click on the left table.
6. Click on the bamboo ornaments and you'll notice a broken one. Click on the broken bamboo two times to get the two bamboos.
7. Go back and to the left two times until you see a bar.
8. Click on the edge of the bar to open it and enter the bar. The bar entrance is at the right edge.
9. You will see four cabinets at the bottom of the bar where you can browse through.
10. Open the leftmost cabinet and get a cup of yoghurt and a lemon inside a fridge. The lemon is inside a box.
11. Go to the rightmost cabinet but the fridge inside is locked. You need a key. Use the key and get icecubes from the fridge.
12. Before you move from the bar, notice there is a grey bar on the floor in from of the rightmost cabinet. It's a handle to a vault. Open it and turn the water valve.
13. Exit the bar and go to the japanese vase on the right of the door or at the left of the left booth.
14. You need to turn on the water. It is behind the vase. You can reach it from the left by clicking several times.
15. When the water is running you will see a bowl surfaces with a spoon inside. Grab the spoon.
16. Go back and wash the bamboo at the running water.
17. Click the bamboos and look at them carefully. At the bottom of each bamboo there is a small opening. You can open it with the barspoon. Do it for both of the bamboos until you make a stilt. You need to click the opening twice.
18. Go to the left several times, but not entering the bar. You will see a wooden cabinet.
19. There is a flower in a vase, but you can't reach it before you read a note book. At your inventory open the book and then close it. Then get the flower.
20. At the bottom of the wooden cabinet, open the left drawer. Get the glass.
21. Under the glass there is a handle to unlock the top drawer. Click it.
22. Go to the top drawer and open it.
23. Now there is a puzzle that you need to solve. It takes some time.
24. When you solve the puzzle you will get a sochu, Japanese white liquor.
25. Go to the bar and put the flower on a purple vase in the middle of the bar. Go watch the romantic story.
26. Now you need some stuffs that are located on ceiling drawers. Notice that when you browse, you see arrow pointing up to look at the ceiling. Use the stilt to jump to open the ceiling drawers.
27. From the drawer on top of the left booth you can get a champagne glass.
28. From one of the ceiling drawers, either on top of the bar or on top of the booths (position may vary), you will get grenadine syrup.
29. Now all ingredients you need to make a drink are available. Be sure you have put the flower on the purple vase on the bar. Otherwise you are unable to make a drink.
a. Put the ice in the glass.
b. Put the white liquor in the measuring cup. There are 2 measures: 45ml and 15ml (click the bottom part). You need 30ml white liquor, so put it on the 15ml cup and then pour onto the glass of ice. Do it twice.
c. You need also 15ml lemon juice. Use lemon squeezer to extract the lemon juice and again use the correct measuring cup. Pour it onto the glass again.
d. Add yoghurt.
e. Add grenadine syrup.
f. Mix them with the barspoon.
g. Pour the drink onto the champagne glass and enjoy the drink. :-)

I hope I didn't miss something.

Wow. I'm out, and it didn't take many hints or a lot of time. No stupid sliding puzzles (just one not-so-stupid one), no need to be a mathematics prodigy, no sodding time limit - just a great game that had a good level of challenge. :)

I don't know if anyone's said this yet (I'm only at the first page), but Shochu is a sort of rice liquor similar to sake, but stronger. It's essentially distilled sake. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sh%C5%8Dch%C5%AB
