Instinct

I can't even hope to begin to describe Instinct (not that, that will stop me trying), but suffice to say it's a fun flash thing to play with on a Friday. Imagine a Monty Python animation, but done by a present day Monty Python who work in flash on the internet, rather than in stop frame animation on TV, and who are a Russian advertising agency, rather than an English comedy team. If you can imagine all this then you are a tiny step closer to understanding Instinct. Only a tiny step though [via redferret].

Took me a couple minutes to figure out you're supposed to drop the various things back into the machine.
Just a FYI: You need pretty decent graphics capability on your computer to watch the little vignettes that causes. My poor system couldn't handle it.

Also take note of the characters underground on the bikes. I'm assuming that's the staff of this outfit... notice the placement of the hands on the male riders. Those Birty Dastards! :)

Entertaining if brief waste of time.

It's amazing how with some of these you don't have to know the language to have a vague idea of what's going on. Like with the ones of the guy who's aparently so into a particular sort of snack food, he's gone crazy..although I was sort of confused as to why he was exposing himself to the fridge... >.>....crazy russians.

the fridge scene and all of the movies which pop up when u drop toasts in the machine are about making russian toast crackers. the humor of the first one "injection in the butt" is about "don't harm my bacon" - you know bacon crackers.
Second is some russian language stuff. it's about "crackers with holodets - cold jellylike pork mix, and hren - radish". Hren in russian means what all the men have between their legs.
Not very innovative but funny.

It seems to be a portfolio for a Russian-speaking television ad agency. Each item dropped in the machine brings up a list of ads done for that client, or in that category. The two tasselled ropes at the top right corner are volume control, the other rope clicks the "light" on and off. When you click it off, you see the list of their portfolio in a standard list format, like credits. In the "lighted" version, each item has two sides with different pictures on each side. As you are playing the little videos, a PDA type thing drops down and shows you what the other side of the icon you chose will look like. Then it spits out at the bottom, in the other form.
