Handyman Wanted
Handyman Wanted is a point'n'click "graphical adventure", that uses that whole "hold the left hand mouse button" verb disc navigation thing which I'm always quite partial to. In fact it all looks rather nice, my only real complaint being that it's exceptionally dark: I had to do all sorts of weird image manipulation to get the screen shot into a state where you could actually see it. Anyway, here's the official description, which I'm not even going to attempt to put into my own words, of what's happening in the game:

"It was in the summer of 1920 when I came upon the house. I was young and carefree, riding the rails, taking odd jobs. I stopped in a small town and answered an ad for a handyman. It was from the local bank. The letter said they had to foreclose on a house that had a serious family tragedy a few years back. He wanted to me to clean it up and do what repairs were necessary. I couldn't help but get the feeling he was holding something back, but I needed to work. I accepted the job and went out to the house to take a look."

Higgo:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
There is a clue in the puzzlebox that tells you where one of the statues go. I did trial and error for the other 3, although I'm guessing some cryptic clue in the book (between the trains) that gives a better clue

Homono:

After you "walk" into the fireplace...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
you will see three "ice cube", then there's a button in each of them. when you click the button, you will change? exchange? the statue with the large one showing as in the background...

By luck,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
one of them will let you take the "power" from the socket, then, I just keep on clicking the button and taking and putting the power back... and that's it.

I don't even know what I was doing!
