Smithy's Quest

In Smithy's Quest you must guide little Smithy, using your trusty cursor keys (and [space] for actions), in that most noble and honourable of quests... to retrieve his Golden Spork. A fun game, but I do recommend making use of the "music off" function [subbed by winniethepooh].

Yeah... not the most fun I've ever had in 10 minutes. Maybe I'm just a RPG purest or something, but the story (such as it was) made no sense... nothing really connected logically to the end result of finding the Spork. *sigh*

It wasn't bad, but with the display problems (notice how a lot of the messages didn't actually fit in the text window?) and a story that seemed slapped together... just not really worth 15 minutes of my time.

Which is fine, since it only takes ten to finish it.

I liked it...it was easy though....they could have harder puzzles next time. And, instead of just "giving" the person the item, you should have to "choose" it. Sometimes I didn't even hear what they wanted, but they I had the item already in my inventory, so it just gave it to them.

I tried this link with firefox on a mac, and I can tell you, there were some really strange things going on. I was told, that I could come in some real family trouble with the sex-sides I was trying to look at and at the same time, an exe tried to download on my mac. For me as a mac-user that was no real trouble, I just cancelled it, and it was ok. But I think, for windows-users there could be somet real trouble in this. Has anybody else recognized something of this kind?

Well, I do like these kind of games, put was totally turned off it because of their inuendos etc.
It is definetly an adult game and there should be a disclaimer on it.
It's a shame so that the game designers think that they must included either sex or violence in their games.
Maybe getting old here but I don't enjoy that in a game.
