The Black Lodge
After releasing a teaser a couple of weeks ago Grant writes to tell me that The Black Lodge is out today for all you puzzle fans to unleash your url changing, source code viewing, Googling brains on. And it has a nice soundtrack for you to listen to as your brain implodes as well... which is nice. Grant insists that it's not an entirely Twin Peaks themed game, but you could have fooled me after playing through the first few levels... pictures from Twin Peaks, puzzles with Twin Peaks answers, and Peaks-esque music playing in the background the whole time. Not that this is a bad things in my eyes - in fact far from it. Anyway here's what Grant has to say on the game:

Well, we finally got around to finishing our third game, The Black Lodge. This one is a bit different than our other games. There is no ramping up of difficulty, the puzzles and riddles were placed semi-randomly throughout the game. The game is also very loosely based around Twin Peaks, not all levels are related to Twin Peaks. Also, be sure to have your sound up (not necessary for solving any levels) for the full experience. Good luck to all.

Nik says in post 662: "...do caps have anything to do with the answers???"

No, all answers are always lower-case, and all answers (except for one of them on game one) have .html at the end.

Alina,

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
go to imdb.com and look for who played the part of the defective person in that movie, not steve martin's character. You're quite close.

You are looking for the person in the suit. The sign behind it should help in what to google

I forget what page it's on (I wanna say one of the 'teen' pages) but someone spoiled the title of the movie, if you still can't figure it out.

call me extremely lazy, but could anyone tell me where the walkthru is on these pages, if there is one? Thanks, :0)

Comment 1065, Tuesday, May 22nd 2007 11:45:48 PM

Grant

:
Sue, yes those are the right letters. Just play around with them and I'm sure you'll get it.

Murtaghrox22, walkthroughs for these types of games are extremely frowned upon. Hints are all over the place, some a bit more obvious than I'd like for them to be, but I'm letting them slide.

Sue,

No, no downloading of anything required on this one. This is a bit of an odd one, if you can e-mail me (grant@bsan.org) I can help a bit more, I don't want to give too much away here.
