Echizen
The aim of Echizen (or so I'm told, I can't pretend to have worked this out for myself) is to collect all the ingredients to make soup for your mum using your point'n'click skills. Even if you're a master chef though you're going to struggle more than you would think if you don't understand Japanese [subbed by Melina & carm].

That is the ending. =)

I found this walkthrough on escapetheroom.blogspot.com; it was written by "Bianca", not me:

Go right twice, pick up letter from your mother. She wants you to find the ingredients to make Oroshisoba, and make it before she returns home.

Go right twice again, and open the large middle door located in the counter with the sink. Grab the bag of Katsuobushi by clicking on the items in the drawer. Then, open the fridge and take the soba noodles.

Go right once, and pick up the raptor toy located near the bottom of the table. Afterwards, grab the radish from inside the vase on the table. Behind the yellow cabinet is a nekojyarashi (cat toy).

Go right one screen, and use the nekojyarashi by selecting it from the item screen, and click on the larger button located directly beneath the item in the selection box. The cat will come out from the other room, bringing along with it another letter from your mother. In the letter, she explains for you to examine the toy raptor. Do so by clicking on the raptor, and then the examine item button. Inside the raptor, is a hanko stamp.

Go right two screens, and take the dashi bottle from the first drawer on the fridge.

Go right once, and click on the letter held up by the dog magnet on the front of the fridge.

Go right twice, and click on the cat door on the left hand side. You will get a watering can.

Go right once more, and take the negi (onions)from the very bottom shelf on the fridge. Click on the leftmost cabinet below the stove to take the cooking pot.

Go right one screen, and click on the small 3rd drawer, top row, to open it and find a cellphone. Examine the cellphone to receive a call from your mom, telling you you'll need to find some ingredients for toppings. On the blue cabinet, rightmost bottom drawer you will find a bowl. By clicking on the middle utensil on the rack located above the sink you'll take an oroshigane. You'll receive a phone call then, and because you've found the missing hanko, you'll obtain a crab for your soba. Click on the yellow cabinet again, this time clicking on the glass doors to open them. On the bottom row, left hand side you'll find some dishes. Inside the small red door located in the middle of the kitchen counter are some chopsticks, as well.

At this time, your mother will return home, and a cutscene will show you making the soba.

The End!

Thanks!

I guess I finished it without
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
using the cat toy, the raptor, cell phone, hanko stamp, or even knowing japanese!? Although, the Tab Key helped!

I played with the watering can, and ended up with my kitchen tree turning into a christmas tree.
