ClickDragType2
ClickDragType2 stretches the boundries of the point'n'click even further than the original ClickDragType, not only expecting us to do 3 things (click, drag and type, rather than just point and click), but also adding 5 extra levels to the original. Phew! All far too much effort for this lazy lace, so I'll just post it, and let you play instead, mwahahahaha [subbed by Jacob coll j, avsp, Helanren, FredFlinstone, rei2000, John, amanda, Fuzzypython327 & Jeroen].

No medals for getting up early!
Any ideas what to do with the linked bars and circles, on 6?

Too difficult, I dont understand anything for number 7. For the 8th, did anybody managed to cut the trunk at the good measure.... I tried maybe 10th times and could not managed it.... HeLp!!!!

Dogberry

:
Level 7

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
click on the black circles, when the light area appears click on it and you will get a circle with two 'bars' top and bottom, move this around until both the bars are clear (not orange).
click and the black circle will turn blue.
When you have done this with all the circles you can then start placing the coloured circles on them

Thank you Dogberry, I was trying to have a full orange mark...

Got Level 8:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
First turn all grey cubes so that the dark grey parts form a path from the beginning (top right) to the arrow in the bottom right.

You will then need to cut the trunk, with the saw, at the right length. You can use the orange device to measure distance between two dark grey parts on which the trunk will be placed, and then measure the right length on the trunk (beginning at the bottom of the trunk)

Quite easy...

Let's go for the next one.... at the moment I cannot understand the purpose of this one...

Done the first 5 (did them first time around... without any help I might add). As I haven't had any help with these before, I am very reluctact to start now, but number 6 is driving me crazy. I think i've put the wood into the correct positions but 4 nails doesn't seem to be enough to hold it all together. Anyone any ideas? Rather difficult on here to show the structure or show where I have tried the nails.

Lol... as ever, as soon as you ask, you figure it out yourself. Glad I did myself.

Level 6

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
The nails can only penetrate wood on the slimmer side.
.

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Fix 2 nails on top; one on the lower right tile, holding the long one going across and the last one on the bottom of the left tile.
.

Was that clear enough? If not, just ask again.

I'm totally clueless about level 9. What is supposed to happen?

Comment 16, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 01:45:30 PM

What about level two? I can make the numbers appear and disappear but what do I need to type in?

Comment 17, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 01:46:33 PM

Balaam

:
Alianne, the two circles are volume knobs. You can't completely silence them though.
Anyway, turn 'em so that you will hear one text clearer than the others.
Once you hear the text correctly, you will know what to do.

Ahh, there's the problem. I don't have speakers on the PC- I guess I'll just have to wait till I'm back home and then have another go on these puzzles.

Ok, figured out what I needed to do on 8 (without any help!!!), but not all the trunks will turn green. The one betweeen boxes 1 & 2, and the one between 2 & 3 are both green, but none of the others will. anyone any ideas?

PS By the way, I thought 7 was pretty easy. :-p

Comment 21, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 01:58:44 PM

Torqane

:
Mio, it did that to me too, and when I went in to try again it worked okay. I did notice that if they're too long you'll get a flashing red X on whichever end overlaps (or both), but if it's too short it's not obvious, it just doesn't turn green.

Now, if someone comes up with what #9 is all about I'll be truly happy.

Comment 22, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 02:11:33 PM

Torqane

:
Aha! #9:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
Move the vertical bar to the right over the slider--there's a row of color buttons under it.

I must be dense or something. I can't figure out how to shoot the nail gun in level 6. I have the boards in the right places I think.

Comment 24, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 02:18:43 PM

Torqane

:
Move the gun the way you moved the boards (arrow keys or buttons). When it's turned toward the wood and right next to it, it'll light up the Fire button.

For info...

On level 2, I figured out you CAN actually totally turn off the volume for either the red or the blue, and therefore only hear one equation at a time.

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
Click on the padlock to unlock it, then you can move the balance controls by dragging them, which you will notice increases and decreases the volume of that dial. Move the red to the left side to turn off the red volume, move the blue to the right to turn off the blue volume. You will need to lock it again before you can turn the balance dials to hear the two different equations

Torqane...duhhhhh...I didn't realise you could move the gun! LOL Thanks!

Comment 27, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 02:29:16 PM

Mio

:
Torqane... or anyone else for that matter, any ideas on 9? I had figured out about the slider and colours options, but haven't a clue what you're supposed to do. Do you maybe need to place colours in all the squares so that when you move the slider no two squares of the same colour are ever adjacent? If so, that could take forever to figure out!!!

Comment 28, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 02:51:39 PM

Mio

:
hmmm - 31 squares on level 9, so if i'm right about the solution, not all the colours are used the same number of times. Somehow I don't think that will be it, but I'll try it... when I get a little more time.

On 9

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
you need to make sure all the boxes that cross over at some point have the same colour

As for 10
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
listen to the music, put it in the right order, and make the cards go on the stack in the right order aswell

Now lets see about 11

Comment 39, Wednesday, September 6th 2006 07:03:10 PM

:
7 - hint...

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
You first need to move the 5 circles into positions that turns them blue. Use the orange bars (you'll understand) to position them. Then the 5 ring spanners fit onto the circles (like join the dots) to reveal an answer.

6

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
You need to make the shape as shown on the middle right. But, be careful, there are two ways of making similar shape... you need the narrower one. Once you've made the shape, you need to drive nails into it to make it one piece

I give up. I've done 1, 2, and 7. Can't figure out the others. 8 is making me pull my hair out. The person who said it was easy must have a degree in geometry or something. I can't figure out the point of the orange things to "measure" the distances, since there's no way to tell how long you're making the logs except to eyeball it. The orange things give you numbers, but there are no numbers to tell you how long the logs are, so what's the point? Also, how the heck do you turn the stupid things? They keep just dissappearing on me because they're not in the right place, but that's because I need to turn them!

I can't figure it out either Jellybean :( and I do have a degree in geometry....

Help on 8
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

Measure the spaces with the orange thing and then move it to the log. You should be able to grab on end and a time and pull it where you want it.

As for the logs. It has taken me so very long to figure out that when you grab the log by the red line you can move it but if you also click on that red line after you have set it down, it disappears sometimes.

You can turn the long by pointing to the top of the log until you get very faint arrows that let you pull it one way or another.

Now excuse me while I pull the remainder of my own hair out trying to get the last long in as I can't seem to master it.
