MSN Conspiracy Game
Apologies, but it's taken a while for me to get round to posting the MSN Conspiracy Game. Not a game about how MSN is a conspiracy, but an advertising tie-in from MSN themselves to promote their search engine. It features a series of point'n'click puzzles which you need to solve to find the solution to the overall mystery. Over to the official description:

Your old friend Professor Adam Whitehead says he needs to see you. Urgently.

There's just one problem: when you get to his house, he has vanished. All you can find is an old puzzle box and some cryptic manuscripts.

The challenge is clear. Can you reveal the sinister trail that leads to the professor?

You'll have to solve riddles and open the puzzle box to find him and crack the conspiracy. At your disposal is Windows Live Search, which will prove invaluable as you probe more deeply into the mystery.

You'll need to be smart. You'll need to be cunning.

i know i'm looking for the Monument. i click the grid and she says "i can't see a grid to compare it to." off go the lights, on goes the black light, TA-DA. i see the answer. she says nothing. i click it. nothing. i turn the black light off and click the answer. "i can't see a grid to compare it to". i turn on the lights, then click the answer, "i can't see a grid to compare it to." i am about to go out of my mind. do i need to find a pen so i can trace the sodding map so she can see it?! is there one little nuance of clicking that i'm missing?

please help...

Chai, I had the same problem. I had to restart several times, not just on level 3, to get her to respond correctly. I'm enjoying this game in concept, but there are just too many glitches for me to really get into it.

okay so their are 7 green books on the first shelf, seven on the next, and zero on the third. i have put the combo 707, 077, 770 in the briefcase and nothing is happening, how frustrating.. any help, oh and i am pushing the little button beside the numbers

I don't think that the game will be continued, after all it is for a MSN competition to promote their beta for the windows search. I really enjoyed the game and spent many hours looking for the answers. I agree the search engione could be better but surely the point of the game is to test the beta search engine to iron out any glitches. ( I may be wrong) Anyway anyone who completes the game will be entered into the prize draw, so when one of us wins a trip to Las Vegas hooray

please help on number 3. i have put in all the right names etc and have looked at the grid using the light and can see where the pillar is but do i click the symbol i see there when i'm using the light or come out and click it on the grid when the light is on. Cos the symbols on the grid you see with the pen aren't in the same order as when the light is on!!

Hey guys. Is it just me or does this game NOT work? Once I go into something, I can't get back out! I can't find a back button or anything, so I'm stuck on what I'm looking at -whether it be the book, or the briefcase, or the cryptex thing. Is there a better link or am I missing something?

I thought this was the worst game I have ever played in a long time. The puzzles and answers were not intuitive- and the woman just got annoying with her random connections.

The search engine was equally as bad.

Im obviously not very clever because ive done the 3 puzzles in the book and now im at a loss at what to do next. I cant click on the book anymore because its all completed, i can't click on the briefcase because i do not have a code and i can't read the message on the phone because there is nothing on the phone i can find to click to make the message play! Any help????

type in 'stone' for the destiny question. with the third checkers map, go bak to the desk, turn out the light and go bak to the book and use the ultra violet light. its summat like on of the card symbols at the bottom corner of the right hand side. one of those four

right, i have gotten to puzzle 3 book 1 and i have the location of the monument and the corresponding symbol but when i click on the symbol anna says ‘careful or you might break the lock’ or something to that effect. I'm so annoyed, i cant get past sundown, and i know the friggin answer. that stupid woman keeps saying:

"hmm, i wish i knew how that helps, I think we should look at are those directions next. We haven't got any streets to compare with this time, but lakes? Ranges? It'd be great if we could look at aerial views of the ground. But lets start by trying to find sundown on a map."

Now, I've found it on a map, I know exactly what its talking about, but there isn't a box to suggest anything, so before you tell me that i need to sugest "lincoln" (lincoln, nevada) and "groom lake", I can't ok. No box. do you see?

What am I doing wrong? do i need to click somewhere so that she's prompted to ask me? coz i can't just slap her in the face and say "listen i know the bloody answer!", or is my game just bugged up?

Please help! for the love of sweet mercy.

hi ive completed puzzle 3 book one she ses (the women top right forgot her name) "fantastic i think youve cracked the puzle and the sign has appeard in th ebottom of my artilary thing but theres no arrows r anything and it sjust stuck on that page and evrytime i exit the game and re-enter (cuz theres no back arrows) the 3rd sign is missing and i hve 2 start again, help please any1?

ok, all you need to do is look at the amount of green books in the right hand book case, the top row is the first number, the middle row is the second number and the next row down is the third number! the numbers are all different! but thats how u find the number!

I've only just started the Conspiracy game and I'm already frustrated on the first three puzzles. I've solved the first 2 but the 3rd is driving me crazy.
I know it is the great fire of london in 1666, but no matter what I suggest "our friend " still says its wrong!!
