You need the CD to reflect the light into the black box inlet behind the guitar. It's appears to be a gas-valve. Click handle for on/off.

wiggle the picture to get if to come off the wall, start with bottom left corner, once it is off the wall, turn it around, and then unscrew the compartment there, and voila..

Use the flat head screwdriver - from behind the couch to unscrew the screws on the back panel, then click each of the screws to take them out, then the panel itself and it'll move to show one battery already there. that help?
