Somehow I managed to pick up some ashes. Then Johnny put them in the broken bottle and a fight broke out. Johnny won!

First pick up the bottle from the counter. Break it on the edge of the counter, then pick up the ashes from the ashtray. Use them on the thugs. Pick up the card from the floor. In your house, try pulling the chain. Take the knife from the wall. Then reach under the couch. Unlock window, get gum from under sill. Climbe down ladder. Talk to the shady figure, offer to find his lighter. Use your knife to open the sewer nearest the shady guy. Attach the gum to the chain. Get the stale bread from the trash can. Um, I can't remember where I got the quarter. :D
So that's what I have so far. I am stuck as to how to get stuff from the store, how to get the lighter, and whatnot. Anyways, thought I'd add some help since I've gotten so much help on here from everyone else!
Also, of course trying other things makes the game more fun!

I was hoping one of the tools in the bag would help me break into the parking meter for some cash. No such luck. Am I doing something wrong?

:</in the bottle shop pick up the bottle and put it in the crack. Go outside and ge the bottle give it to the bum and steal the bums money when he is drunk. go back the the bottle shop and pick up the fizzle tabs you have to buy them with the bums money. Put them in the stale bread from the dumpster and give it to the pigeon. Grab the hair pin from the nest and use it on the parking metre...>
Thats all i know i cant get past the croc.

I climbed down the ladder and used the wrench on the pole. Then I climbed in the hole and tossed the sandwich outside the pipe. Then I whacked the croc with the pipe when he came near. I think the whacking was my mistake. Now I am stuck WITH the croc.

Okay, once I was in the little hole with the croc I used the screw driver on the panel and it broke off. I used the wrench on the wheel to loosen it and then opened it the rest of the way with my hand.
Then I used the quarter to unscrew the panel and the knife to pry the rusty panel door open. Then I looked in the panel and now have a puzzle.

I used the scrabble tile in the panel, but now don't know what else to do. I've turned the wheel as far as it'll go.

Grab the forty and put it in the crack on the right wall of the store. Then go outside and grab it from the other side of the crack.

I combined the bread and the seltzer, climbed back up the ladder and fed it to the pigeon. The pigeon exploded. There's something shiny in the nest, but every time I try to grab it, I fall off the ladder. Any advice?

Seems like you maybe have to go down the other drain to access the treasure? I'm not sure. But I don't have a tool to get that drain cover off, anyway.

:at the treasure, if you are looking at the top of the treasure,you can see the zippo lighter. if you try to get the lighter with the chain its saing that he doesn't know how to make a lasso. anyone knows what to do???
