Honda Civic

Honda has another expensive ad out on TV for the new Civic, some people think it's great and have submitted it for linkage (remember cog?), but personally I hate the ad as it hardly features the car, which I love and I think it could sell itself without all that fancy nonsense. The old Honda Civic has the image of an old mans' car, but I love the new model, could this be the new Lazylaces-mobile? Maybe. But I'm waiting for the Type-R in the new model. I feel the need, the need for speed (and if anyone could lend me some cash that would be great).

Graeme, sure it can sell itself, hence the reason you don't actually see much of the car. Plus, the idea is that you are supposed to "feel" it, rather than just see it.
Personally, I love the ad. I think it's very clever and although some of the sounds are a bit dodgy, most of them are great, but I am sure they could have got that guy from Police Academy to do them all for a much cheaper price ;o)

Just a note on the Type-R...

Not sure about the new ones, but I test-drove one before I bought my car...

I hate the position of the shift...it is like, out of the dash...I can't imagine being able to do it left handed (of course I can't imagine ever shifting with my left hand)

Oh and look, I just saw that someone noted they put it back in it's proper place. Good job Honda.

May I ask son, why there is no S next to that Cooper?

My best friend has the same color and all in her S, only with the 18 inchers...

The way that thing drives...we have immasculated a few muscle cars in it... not to mention pulled off a few highly illegal highway manuevers... :)
