Heart Key
I've been slaving away over a hot keyboard doing some coding most of the night, and now I need to go to bed, so I haven't got time to properly introduce Heart Key, but I don't need to say much more than:
  1. Point'n'click adventure game.
  2. Escape the room.
  3. Learn Japanese.
  4. Not necessarily in this order.

This game requires you to translate the colors (those Japanese characters with roman nureals in the notes, books and window) into English in order to come up with the final solution. It can be done as long as you know which character means what.

You can look at the items by selecting it and clickin on the ? button on the left of the items.

One of the green book talk about the dew point (at what temperature and humidity). The other books gives you hints about coming up with the passwords.

Japanese characters and their meaning used in the game are:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
緑 Green
金 Gold
灰 Silver
橙 Oran
ge
黄 Yellow
茶 Brown
赤 Red
黒 Black
白 White
(the last character on note #3. Looks like a square with a horizontal line in the middle and a dot on the top)

Po Chan - Thanks for the Info but its not helping any........
how can you figure out the code sequence? I already know what the colors stand for (I googled it :O}) but I cant figure out the sequence. does it have anything to do with the Roman Numerals because I cant see any logic with that at all....
Please advise, Po Chan....... or anyone else!

Yagovaggo, Mara

When you have all 3 notes, write down the Roman numerals and English translation of the Japanese characters side by side and in sequence and study them. The puzzle is nothing to do with it being in Japanese. Think English.

If you need more, read the following. I tried to write it so you might be able to figure out without reading all of it.

List the first colors from the page 6 of the book 2 (red book) for example:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
II - BROWN
IV - GREEN
IV - GOLD
and study the list carefully.

When you associate each Roman numeral with each color in the notes,
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
they spell out the color sequence.

So the above list spells:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
RED

Becca
That thing under the bed was a

bone.

Slgalt

You didn't get that paper. You
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
cut it up with the cutter and threw it away.

Password for PC can be gotten from a crue on the paper in the middle drawer. You need to solve the equation on it.

I believe it's a snap-off blade cutter. It's located in:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
between the wall and the bookshelf below the thermostat.
It might be a little difficult to find the right spot to click on.

If anyone is trying to randomly enter any codes on the 3-number combination box or the box with colored lights, neither one will work (even if you know the codes) until you work out the computer.

Two hints:
HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
The equation using exponents gives the password to the computer.

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
The symbol for silver appears to be equal to the symbol for yellow.

Spoiler about memo 1/3:
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
It's in the 3-number combination box

Spoiler for the computer ID (because basically I don't know where to get this - I'm guessing it's in Japanese somewhere):
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
