At the end,
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
(after you have used the letters and rearranged them), visit the URL and there is a box with a vase on top and some kind of reed sticking out of the top. You take this, then return to the house. Click on the cat flap in the door, and the reed enticed a cat to come into the house.
The cat has a key on it's collar. Click the key, click the door and your out :o)
