Qwyzzle 100
There are 100 levels of puzzle goodness in Qwyzzle, which should keep you occupied, with your thinking cap placed firmly on your head, for a while. As usual with these things the browser status bar, image properties, viewing page source, etc, are your friends. I've played into level 5 so far and it's all been very easy, but I imagine it gets harder as you go along [subbed by grisy].

No Di....I've gone as far as drawing up a chess board and trying to connect to make a picture but nothing is working. :(

Level 73:

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)
For each of the ingredients, use the first letter of the ingredient and the 'amount of' number to plot a co-ordinate on a chessboard. Connect the dots to see the picture.
If you can't see it, it's a:

Snail

However, I still can't think of a dish for it.

I can't seem to get 72 even based on the clues. I keep coming up with:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
fillagedrpd

I know I can turn the "f" into a "u", the "i" into a "j" or "y" and the "p" into "ui" or "pe". but none of that makes sense either.

HINT: (click box to highlight/fade)

The F actually turns into a 'V' not a 'U', you're write about the p (with the first one) but there is a space you can see between the e and the d.

Thanks hojo, the level made much more sense that way :)

heh, turning the F to a V was all I really needed(plus google and alittle common sense).

Speaking of google, searching for mathematical formulas is less than fun.

HoHo, already got it. It would have been too easy to actually think about the equation for two minutes so I went for the more challenging route.

75: I don't know which is scarier. The picture or the fact that I found the same picture with a different person and clothes online...

Comment 745, Thursday, January 5th 2006 04:14:00 AM

Chance

:
For 79: I took the photo into ms paint and started crossing off letters that weren't possible. I'm left with the first letter being "b","o" or "u" and the second letter being "a" or "b". Is that right?

I'm also confused by the title "Each is pointed at by exactly one arrow, and vice versa." What vice versa?

Comment 746, Thursday, January 5th 2006 04:14:00 AM

HoJo

:
Dunno. I thought it was:

1) Draw a line through the letters that follow each of the arrows
2)Black out any letters that do not have any lines through them,
3)Black out any letter that have more than one line through them
4) Pick one of the lines that has only one letter left on it. That is part of the answer. Black out any letters adjacent to that letter.
5) Repeat step 4.

I ended up with:
