Turns out the rather odd and delayed train journey into work I experienced the other week was due to the fact that the train I was on only just managed to stop 300yds short of ploughing into another train. You'll be glad to know that your diligent on-the-spot reporter slept through the whole "potential major disaster" (it was 6.30am), decribing it later as "a nice lay in". So I live on to make another post...

Thank god Graeme lives on. I don't know what I would do without him. I need these point and click games to live!

And By the way. Noone will get first on this, because I declare it so! Muhahaha! <u>Noone!

its so funny everyone is like 'what would i do without this site' not even remotely worried that something could have happened to Graeme himself.

Selfish people.

Graeme, congratulations on surviving your brush with death. i totally agree with Tia, it's hilarious/scary/depressing that we're all "what would i do without Lazylaces!!!" and no-one spares a thought for "what about Graeme?"

but not me! nosireebob, my first thought was "ohmigod, Graeme almost got killed in a train wreck! whoah, that would make a cool script for a point-and-click game."

immortality, of a sort.

That's crazy, I'm glad you're allright. Dying in a train crash is pretty brutal, from what I've heard.

Aahh...the wonders of the great British train service. "We'll get you there"...yeah, but in how many pieces?
Anyway, glad to hear you are okay Graeme.

BTW, if you fall asleep on a train, how do you wake yourself up for your stop?

Comment 14, Sunday, December 4th 2005 10:05:00 PM

Tia

:
Hmm good point, I suppose you wake up everytime the train jerks.
For those heavy sleepers you just wake up when an attendent wakes you up, at the last stop!

Never slept on a train before, I dont trust the british public!

I too wondered what I'd do w/o the site, but it just goes to show how much we all love your work and appreciate what you do.

As for how to wake yourself up for your stop, it is surprisingly easy. It is way too easy to fall asleep on the train though, I took the train for three years to school in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania, US). 45 minute trip each way, and man did I get some GOOD sleep!

I have come to the concusion that you ARE invincible Graeme.

Sorry, thought normal html wherein you dont't need to close tags, like in most forum styles would leave it normal. And not everyone underlining. Yeah. Silly me.

:
It's hard to wake yourself up for your stop if the loudspeakers are broken. Or if noone bothers coming into your car to tell you.
Nice to hear nothing happened to poor Graeme. I'm sure that eventually he'll go out in style. A nice lay in, indeed. :D

wow, it sounded really selfish the way i said wat would i do without this site. i didnt mean it that way!!! it would hav been a tradegy if Graeme had died. not only would Graeme be dead, but we would have to search the web on our own for point and click games! it would be the end of laziness as we know it!

Comment 20, Monday, December 5th 2005 11:03:00 PM

lol, at least he would have gone out in true lazy style.

Actually after 2 days of no posts I wonder if another train took its toll.... or maybe the corporate mass that is secretly running lazylaces did, in the few posts recently, only cover up the fact that our beloved Graeme is in the Hereafter after all... or maybe I just can't live without these games and am trying to comfort my unused puzzle brain with nonsense rants.... Oh please be alive!

okay, if Graeme doesn't post by tomorrow, we'll hav to assume that he jumped out of the train and died, and that a company of some sort posted these last few posts.
