Nothing Stays Lost Forever
Everyone who has sent Nothing Stays Lost Forever into me has said pretty much the same thing - "haven't started playing yet, but it looks interesting", and I'm in much the same boat. It does look interesting, but I haven't left my desk yet (in the game). Anyway this point'n'click is all about the Bermuda Triangle, a good mysterious subject for a game, and is a trailer game for some US television series which hasn't started yet, and which I assume will take sometime to reach UK shores [subbed by corchen, oxyacetylene, jackie & afromaggi].

AHHHH COME ON!!!
How can they put so much effort into a game and then have it spoiled by not having the resolution in order. grrrrrr

tips: zoom in to reveal the coordinates fields. i was banging my head from not seing them, then zooming in and seing one, banging my head some more for not being able to make it work, and then zooming in more to reveal the longiture as well. i stopped banging now.

Go back to your desk and read all the notes. There's a hint written on one that tells you about "____ may be the key to opening doors"

This was stupid.

And yeah, it says something like "keep searching, you never know what you will find" and there are more undiscovered X's on the map. Don't know how to get to them.

:
I'm pretty sure there's a bug on that last pair of coordinates.

I looked through the SWF code and there's an array of valid pairs of lat/long entries. However the one that should be
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
28.4527, -68.527
only has one number in it instead of the two it needs. I tried putting the one number in as either lat or long, with the other one blank or zero, and it never worked, so I don't think you can complete the game.

It's called "testing," folks. Embrace the concept o.0

The last coordinate is broken. I put it in and all I get is "invalid". But I know it's right so I'll just humor myself by saying I won and figured it out even though I never saw the ending.

Comment 49, Saturday, November 19th 2005 09:15:00 PM

Heathseal

:
Yeah, I have to add my 2 cents and say it must be busted, cause I tried every possible permutation for the final co-ordinates. I think it may have crashed or something - did that many people try to log onto it at once? And the software industry claims there's no market for adventure games anymore.... :)
