The Seven Noble Kinsmen (Part II)
It really seems to be a slow point'n'click week this week. Are you guys keeping them to yourselves, or are we going through a pre-Christmas gaming drought (or is everyone addicted to GTA on their PSP like I am)? Anyway some good news is that Part 2 of The Seven Noble Kinsmen is out now, with part 3 to follow next week. Be warned though, you have to have already finished part 1 to unlock part 2.

What do you have to do to complete ACT 2? I've played it 6 times now & I still haven't completed it. Somebody please help me before I go completely mad!

:
4th! you have to find the body on the ceiling to complete the level

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
you can do this by clicking on the a sort of light switch in the far left in the basement

Cheers Rora. I found it but when the act ends it doesn't say it's completed like it does on the first act. Do you have tio use all the items in the inventory cos I still had 3 left

Rora - I can't find it!! I've even resorted to using the tab button to find all of the hot spots in the basement.

Is there any way to use the torch in this act or is it for a later act?

HELP!

Comment 8, Wednesday, November 16th 2005 11:21:00 PM

Rora

:
naisy- dont worry you can find it!=0)...its really really small on the backwall it looks like a black rectangle....click on that and youre all set...afraid the torch wont help yet here...

and i think the game says you completed the level when the next one comes out...bc when i completed the first level...i could still play it but now it says its completed

Okay, aside for
SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the hand and the vhs tape that i found execcept for their use,
the cd with the laptop
and the crowbar with the trap door...

I also found & read

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
diary pages at the basement
postcards for mom
billing statement ?

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)

that are readable. but I'm still stumped. What could we be missing? Because I can't shake the feeling that we're missing something, that's why most of us says act 2 is still in *play now* mode

Is there any chance that there is something that triggers the switch's appearance?
I have scoured the room that Allwood is in and I can't find it!
All help appreciated.

The hints section of the PDA and it says the same as you Rora, I think I must be going blind!
Is it definitely to the left?
Sorry to whine!

</Is there only one body, Morton with the crown on his head?>
If so i've had it the whole time, but I was confused by the 'Play Now' next to the 2nd Act!
thanks for your helo anyway Rora.

There is only one body for this act isn't there?

FYI:

I received an email from BBC in which they told me that they will forward my complaint about the game to the appropriate person. Soooo, it will take a while I guess, but will keep you guys posted.

The switch is in the basement, as you face Allwood, look to the left hand side of him on the back wall, to the right of the torture device which is like a long stick (begins with G, cant remember name sorry) the area kinda looks like a small door and a key hole, click the black switch.
I got the same 'non completed' thing on mine, although i got everything, even tried the game twice, must be a buggy bit.

How about we all wait until the next episode is released to see if we have actually completed it?

Comment 17, Thursday, November 17th 2005 09:35:00 PM

Torqane

:
Actually I don't remember seeing the "Completed" until this week. I think they let you play it as many times as you want during the week it's active and then they lock it down with the "Completed" tag. Note you can't click on Act I any more.

Comment 18, Thursday, November 17th 2005 11:43:00 PM

Kyameel

:
That's a plausible idea Torqane, but that doesn't explain instances where people see that act ii is completed.

Like what happened to my other bbc account where in act ii is suddenly completed. I had trouble loading the game. I thought that since it's flash, I started to *stop* *forward* and *play* but... then it suddenly ended. T_T I had to make another account to play the game to solve it. Now, it just keepes saying *play now* for my second account. And I played 10x already

This is an interesting game. Shakespear theme is def informative. I only have interest in the comedies so King Lear isn't something that I have read. Looking at the BBC site, I came across Spy Academy. Very fun.

the crowbar is in the clock behind the severed hand, you should get both items at the same time.

how to retrieve it:

to open the clock, solve the puzzle in the 7NK script with the quotes book

further help if needed:

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
the clock is on the stage once you click the view around

I could not figure out what to do with the videotape.....anyone know???
The game said "completed" last week when I got through the first act, but not this act.... I thought it was because I didn't play the videotape.

FYI I received the following from the webteam of 7nk:

"We're sorry you've encountered problems with the 7Nk Shakespeare Murder Mystery Game. There is a technical caching problem that we are aware of. We are currently working to remedy this problem, and hope to have this fixed by end of play tomorrow (Friday). We're very sorry for this inconvenience and thanks for your patience. We currently have no plans for a forum for this game.

Best Wishes,
Drama Webteam"

when it finally loads up the secret underground lair in the chapel i might be able to help you! I'm so glad you're out there, I'm in Australia and it's always the middle of the night for other lazylace-rs when i'm online. Now it's the middle of the night for me!

I'll keep thinking about 'acejars'...

Heh heh, I'm playing from Australia too! I actually stayed up so i could play this game, since i figured it would come out around midnight (shows how much of a game freak i am). Any help on 'acejars' would be much appreciated, as i'm pretty sure its the only thing i have left to do in this act...
