:Never heard of the series, but what promised to be a good game, turned out to be kind of lame.
I spent all my time reading the journal, got the password for the secret box, but none of seems any use as you can't progress beyond the car...at least I can't.
If anyone else has any luck, please let me know :)

I figured the way the code was set out, it must be a date, so I tried all of the dates in the journal. None of these worked, so then I figured with all this happening in the babies room, it must be something to do with him, so I looked for his birthdate...(which I didn't find).
As the first entry in the journal was from November 6th 1983, I figured seeing as how none of the later dates worked, maybe some of the earlier dates did as I thought the baby must be a newborn, therefore his birthdate would be before the first journal entry.
I think my theory on the baby was wrong, because the date I found to work, seemed like the baby was too young and the journal suggested otherwise. I then thought it could be the date of the fire.
In short, lol, the code was pure guesswork

:you can not win this. i tried when it first came out for the wb website then on yahoo now here. YOU CANT WIN someone hint or somthing but the dates are not the code. HINT </ the code has to do with the rune's in there dads journal. It has a translation>

the code is a date though, as I used it and it worked. Like I said though, it didn't make any difference, as I couldn't do anything with what I found anyway

Now back to the game......I have gotten into the trunk and found a laptop computer type thingie, when you click on it you can either choose to go to Hunter's Blog or Research Links. :the WB forum for the show has some info for getting into the second part of the trunk. has to do with the show that i haven't had a chance to watch at all yet. it is a date.. it's the date the mother died. The laptop leads no where yet. they haven't given it an actual password yet so don't worry about breaking into that thing. the second part of the trunk doesn't lead anywhere either. so i guess that was pointless

<the trunk back is the date the mom died 4 days before the first journal entry 11-02-83... THe key is to the glove compartment... I am working on HUnters Blog... Also the YOU ALL HAVE MISSED THE POINT OF THE ROLLING STONES MESSAGE its not about the stones its a secret message duh lol am i the only one that really figured that out. It took me like 10 seconds read the side of it. theres the stones info and then a torn edge on the torn edge it states messages i will post a decodation take a look at it and you'll be like how did i miss that
