I agree with tessa and others that its a nice modern take on the inferno, the station should realy b a hill but thats no fun, and this game was fun.

:I've been through ALL of the posts, and I've done everything they say. But for some reason, the game won't let me talk to the crying guy. I've been back to the backwards-talking box god only knows how many times, and still nothing! Anyone else have the same problem?

:It is essential to talk to him. Here's how you do it:
- Go to room 4, click on the guy. He will tell you about his wife and baby, and ask you to help him.
- Go to room 1, click on the talking box and speak backwards. Hint: read what it says!
First, it asks: "describe your childhood memories". Type "gnihsif".
If it says "describe memories", it means that it didn't understand. Try again and check your spelling. It will keep saying that until you get it right.
Then it asks: "sell them to us" Type "sey".
If you mess up, it goes back to "describe memories", if you answer "on", it says "sell and you may ask a question" Just say "sey" goddammit.
Then it says "you may ask a question". Type "efiw"
If you mess up, it will say "ask again". Try again and check your spelling.
When you get it right, it will say "the wife did not kill the baby and thus they are both in heaven". Click on close (that's important)
You're then done with that talking box.
- Go back to the guy. He will ask where his wife is. Answer "heaven". He will ask if she killed the baby, answer no. He'll give you the money.

:man thank god for cheats i no im a bad girl for cheating i just could not figer it out given the fact the pentagram was draw the wrong way how could they draw it the wrong way but the hardest part was the languish thing the button near the bench man i dont no how people could have throuth of these games they must be a murder or something scary like that

:I have done everything. When talking to the Clerk, I say "Hello." He says, "You would greet me better if you knew who I was." I type, "Purgatory." Nothing happens. I have written what I typed in the game EXACTLY as I have typed it in the game. Can anyone please tell me what I need to do? Thank you.

:The circuit breaker puzzle is cake...just mess with it until the dots line up, all black on the right. However it is not supposed to be solved until [i]after[/i] the pentagram.

:I want to give a big thanks to Paul - soooo much work here, rather atmospheric, and rich grounding/adaptation of the Dante and the mythologies of afterlife. Finding the items was hard but not-too-hard, I think... but :)
yah, that Pentagram was a tad too horrific to figure. Also, if one has to type in responses, I suggest allowing a wider range of acceptable answers - at least allow a different order of words, or different tenses!

:I'd like to point out the game is forever saying capitals don't work here. I'm assuming if you put anything with a capital it wont recognise it.

:Was so good. Was almost upset that i got the good ending. It was a bitch of a point and click, but all worth it in the end. The only thing i outright cheated on was the pin. But now that i know it's so bleedingly obvious. I know that if i had just found out that i had commited suicide after screwing my friend over i'd look into a toilet bowl for some very seedy looking Cocaine.
Anyhow, i thought that the only criticism is that the text responses were too narrow. I even didn't think that the pentagram was too bad, I just wish they had at least shown us the starting point. Anyway... Good game, might play it again and go to Hell with the Heretics.

there are two endings 2 da game, i went 2 hell but you can go 2 heaven depending on how you complete da game which is kinda annoying.
