Update : Triskabiblios | The13Books

The mystery of Triskabiblios continues. I've had to put my updates in this new post asthe last one was starting to take too long to load. Thanks for all your help. Anyway...

Sorry if any of you were troubled by my disappearance. I was only away as I had to sleep and then go out today! Anyway while I was away a couple of things arrived in my inbox. Neither make muchsense. First up another note from Orkid:

I;m starting to Get in2 the winsg of this.
It's interACTNOWpoetry

spanning all of human creation.

It shoulf be on the front page tomoR0?
13thJalurany Februos3:46pa

Orkid's mails beforethis were a lot more structured and made alot more sense.Could Orkid be losing it? Interestingly myother email, from Islington, also has a similar mixed up style:

Mr. Walton,

re:reciept klve in trisca.jp

I suppose I should explain.
You wanted that vynil? well you paid for it in 2006 so I don't mind esneding it now>
This is the worlds largest AAAGGRGH! ever (13,000,000) but funding is not an issue.
Have you tasted minecadnie?
D not e sorry

Regards, Islington

What this all means I don't know, but hopefully it will help out in your advanced investigations - you seem to be doing well. Can I expect an old style vinyl record in the post soon? I'm not sure I like the idea of Islington knowing where I live.

That's all the communications I've had today. There have been a couple of commments on older threads with links to vibration13 pages, but with the ".com" missing. I think these were hoaxes. What I did do is interrogate my comment database to see what comments Islington has made. I've got ascreen shot of the results here:

That's all I have. If I'm not around tomorrow don't worry. I have to be in Newbury most of day.

GOOD LUCK.

UPDATE: I know that most of you have probably picked up on this (some of you are probably members already) but the forums at unfiction make for valuable reading [hello duckie].

We're sorry. We did not find a listing for the phone number you entered.
The phone number "(315) 213-7292" is a Auburn, NY based phone number and the registered carrier is Arch Wireless Holdings, Inc. However, due to number portability, some numbers have been transferred to a new service provider other than the registered carrier.

Well, well, well. Thank you, yellow pages. NY, huh? I might just drive to Auburn and give them a piece of my mind for hosting part of this randomfest.

How much do any of you know about Duckie? I keep getting strange references to him.

Triscal D. Islington
The Duck Knows Where They Are?
Royal Duck hunt
The Ghostly apparition of the Duck with the infinity sign.

Sorry Duck if I'm off, but something is strange there.

Wouldn't it rock if it was just a complex rubber ducky hunt? Personally, that's something I could go in for.
'Night, Graeme. 'Night to all of you, probably.

Wow. Well, if that's true, at least it's back to a nice, red background, right?
What a mess, though. If it really did go down in flames, they should have thought it out a bit beforehand. The info on this game looks like a map of Tokyo by now (tub of hyperactive bait, with random numbers and characters strewn about scenically)
Comment 164, Saturday, 17 Sep 2005 03:29:00

From Duckie at Unforum's :

Mountain Girl: I've been around since ILB, all the way back when I went by Sarah Roberts, then Sarah Kiddo (please don't ask)
It would be odd, fingering myself as the PM by basing the thing on my own school/nickname, but as I'm actually convinced the PM is insane, and this game is making me insane, I could quite concievably be working on the game every time I'm not trying to solve it, and just blocking it out.
I must be very subconscoiusly good at flash though Wink
OK, just a very roundabout answer, I'm legit, and there was a point this afternoon I was actively considering that I was actually making this all up (no sarcasm here, I really did consider it) so I guess I am going insane.
Toby sent me a nice little shopping list via email! Woo.

In the email I got (That last one that mountain girl posted) It is signed "IsLing TO bee?" and IsLing is obviously islingwhatshisface.

The emails and IMs that people have been posting just seem to be getting wilder and wilder, and all english and punctuation is being thrown out the door.

like I said before, "the curtain rose too early" might refer to the index being accessible, and "rose" as in the girl orkid wanted to meet.

who knows?

Comment 177, Saturday, 17 Sep 2005 10:23:00

..Holy crap, this comment is too long.

Okay, here comes a post that has barely anything to do with this puzzle.

I've been getting 4 hours of sleep every day for this whole week, and it was starting to affect me in ways that it hasn't affected me before. D:

Then I read this first part yesterday and it got me all paranoid. And then I come here today and the background changes. I'm feeling a little less paranoid since I got some more sleep, but still, this is kinda weird.

If I knew at least one of you more closely, maybe I'd be less paranoid since I'd at least trust someone and do this together. I'd want to get involved but I'm not very smart at this crap. However, I think Islington might be interested in me, since I've gone through so many 'coincidences' in my life that it's not even funny and I'm starting to think my life is pretty badly rigged(in the best way possible). Sadly, I don't think any of my frequent 'coincidences' have anything to do with the number 13, though.

So far I have not gone to the site or the unforums or whatever because I don't want to get involved, but I have been clicking on related links hosted by lazylaces. Is cool to watch.

Also, I didn't see anyone mention saying what was in that .fla? I have flash that is not a trial, but like I said, I'm kinda paranoid about all this.

Also, about the index meltdown whatever: There was somewhat of an 'internet puzzle conspiracy' when the clock crew's site suddenly shut down, and for a while we bitched about it, then all of the sudden it 'meltdown' like you guys call it. Then it turned out to be a huge puzzle with images that we all had to work together and look at source code and use photoshop on some hidden image pictures, etc. We also ended up just trying random URLs/folder names. We did everything in our power, short of hacking.
I don't know what happened after that, if it was ever solved or anything. My memory's kinda fuzzy and I don't know what happened.

1) In reference to the "Filter" comment on Graeme's page and 2) because of the recent inability of Orkid, I, or Toby to type coherently...

I recently found this site when I was looking for point & click games a few days ago. I've been following this 'game' since last night and like everyone else, I'm confussed. But I do have a question about this site: http://www.wonderweasels.org/13books/guide.html

Who started it?

And this is what it says today (which is the first time I clicked it):

SPOILER: (click box to reveal/hide)
(Note: This post has been edited from what it originally said. And the reason it's not the best start is because it was discovered that the initial poster is also one of the persons behind it.)

'original poster' as in "I"/Orkid or 'original poster' as in the website?
Comment 193, Saturday, 17 Sep 2005 19:51:00

I think the person is just referring to the making of the guide itself because they are frustrated with the way the game is going.
