How apt? A point'n'click adventure called "I Am Lost" where I am lost. Ha! Well not really, I've only just started playing so technically I probably can't call myself lost yet, but you know, it was too obvious a thing to avoid saying and sometimes I stuggle to find something new to say about these games. Lush photo-realistic graphics (actually these are my favourite kind) and nice audio combine in I Am Lost to make an intriguing clicker, which seems to be a tie-in with some US television show I'm completely unaware of.

:Lost is such a great show, haha. I can't really see how it would make much sense w/out watching the show. I've had a lot of trouble with it myself, but it is fun.
Tabby
:"Lost" is indeed excellent, addictive television, and you really can't do much in the game without that context.
And even with that context, you really can't do that much with the game. It was updating every week for a while, and then it went dead and -- with the exception of a brief resurgence a coule weeks ago -- has stayed dead. There's a 20-something-page thread about it over on Television Without Pity (started by yours truly, actually), and we're all quite peeved about the fact that it's going nowhere slowly.
Mistik
:So what is the point of this game?
Mamawren
:Love this show, not sure about the game though. I've found the boar hunt, the fusilage, the beach, and of course the crash site. I have five items. Is there more places to find?
Incog Neato
:I LOVE "Lost"!!!
The fact that the season is just about over damn near makes me want to cry! I am not much of a TV watcher....but, due to my odd work schedule, this forced me to go out and buy TIVO!!
It's a bummer that the game petered out.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAEME!!
Shewski
:They keep adding places to the game as the show goes on, so it's pretty open ended. I think I've explored all of the places so far.
Medina
:I dont get what to do I need help I got handcuffs medicine and some orange rope thing and another thing and I dont know what to do with it can someone help me?????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!
Shewski
:The orange rope thing are wires, I think. There are a few more items you should be able to get. Check out the beach for some valuable wreckage and think back to some early episodes on the show. There was an item they found in the pilot episode that you need to find.
Steve
:You should consider adding "Your one-stop point and click paradise" or something to your title html. lol
And happy birthday, you dumb brit. :D
Ella
:Another game to leave my finger joints arthritic...but lovin' it! I'll be back shortly to beg help
TUFF E
:What happens if you never watched the show? Am I screw**?? I can make trees rustle and coconuts fall from tree but and vines move back and forth....is there a point? (and click) HA HA too TUFF
Ella
:Yeah, are we doomed if we haven't seen the show? There must be a few hardened point and clickers in here!?
Shewski
:A lot of the rustling and falling is a bit of a red herring. You aren't doomed if you haven't seen the show, but you won't get some of the locales/items significance.
Basically, your plane crashed on a seemingly deserted island with only 14 survivors. As the hope of rescue fades, you need to adapt to life on the island with castaways who are more than they seem. Add to that mysterious weather patterns, an unseen monster, and others who weren't on the plane with you and you have a really great mystery show. I highly recommend finding it on DVD after this first season finishes up.
Ella
:Nice one Shewski. I might just do that but, if you'll excuse my ignorance as I don't watch a fat lot of TV, is this a US thing or a UK show?
Shewski
:It's a US show, but I think it might run in the UK since some people on some fan sites I visit live in the UK as well. Of course, they could always just have really nice satellite TVs. =)
PS- I'll try to gently spoil to get you up to date on the game... The game is only 2 episodes back from the show. BTW the show's website can get gotten to by clicking on the red light at the beach crash site or by clicking here: Lost
Karlee
:hmmmm.....?
well any ways happy birthday to graem(I kinow its a little late). How old are you now??
Ella
:Superb Shewski! I do try to figure games out myself but a hint can be a finger joint saviour. I learned the hard way when I played that Somerset game.
Daisy
:Happy Birthday matey! Hope it's been a good 'un
Meme
:i LOVE wishing Graeme "happy britday" on a thread about a show called "Lost." poetic justice, no?
happy birthday!
Mamawren
:hey I just figured out how to get to the cave and jungle and jungle 2 scenes, is that all of them?
Mamawren
:I found the cave, jungle, and jungle 2. Is there more sites to find?
Mamawren
:sorry, about the double question. this is why I normally keep my mouth shut. I screw up alot. :p
Graeme
:Thank you all. I've had a great birthday thanks to all your comments (and not at all because we went to pub after work and I've been playing my PSP in every free millisecond I 've had). To those of you that are interested, Karlee, I am 31 today. And I am obviously lost as always Meme....
State your name
:well after much frustration, i finally solved it!!!!! i am no longer lost!
Pixie
:I am surpised anyone has "finished" this game yet... I stopped going because I have not been keeping up with the show, but every week after the show aired, a newer version, with more clues/objects/general "stuff" available.
I would think with the season not over yet, the game would not be either.... but i guess i'll have to check it out now.
Sam
:Happy Birthday, Graeme! Thanks for all the fun!
I have never heard of the TV show Lost but I don't watch much TV and I live in Canada where apparently we're too busy designing excruciatingly boring p 'n c games that are thinly disguised history propaganda. One good thing about us, though; we share all those funny extra letters with the british, showing our true COLOURS. :)
Haven't got far in this game but, now that I know someone's got all the way through it, I'll keep at it.
Mel
:You can't finish the game, it's only been updated for episode 12 of Lost and seeing as there are 24 episodes in season one I doubt it's finished.
Pixie
:No, it's finished... the creators chumped out. The game does end, and you have the ability to play again, and it says to check back soon for a new one. I didn't doubt anyone here, for the record, i was just surprised that the creators chumped out... but yeah, it finishes. how lame.
Nail
:i have medicine, handcuffs, transeiver, axe, bottle rocket, gold watch, encalyptus.
i've used the wires and metal, and i've been to the cave and jungle 1 and 2.
what should i do now?
Incog Neato
:Yup. It is finished. And, for the record, I DID doubt those that said it was!! ;)
Do you think that they will actually post another game? The show is popular enough that I think they should. Though, even if the show sucked I would want them to do another game. :)
Jackie
:I'm pretty stuck.
Tabby
:Okay then, if there's an actual end now let's be meta and color me lost. I've been everywhere, set up the antenna and set off the bottle rocket, and I have all the items. Now what?
Heath
:some one i need help just hints ive been i the jungle 2 but not cave were is it and i have the handcuffs, tranceiver, medicien, axe, bottle rocket, and the eucalyptus, were do you find the gold watch dont know what to do next never whached show plz help (just hint plz)
Shewski
:Mamawren, there are more locations to find. I have counted 13... and I just stumbled onto a new one that I must have missed before..... and there's the end to the game. A bit anticlimactic, but maybe since the show's so popular they will sink more $$$ into the game's next incarnation.
Nail, I think that you have the rudimentary beginnings of a nice antennae. =)
Tabby, I would recommend checking out the beach. Some castaways need to relax every once in a while by playing a nice game. =)
Shewski
:Heath, though its not Independence Day, it's ok to set off fireworks on this island. =)
Pixie
:There is a two part walk-thru for anyone who is still LOST.
PART ONE:
http://members.shaw.ca/skoooks/lost/
PART TWO:
http://forums.go.com/abc/thread?threadID=319231
The person on the forums there just starts their walkthru with a link to the first half, and then an actual walkthu continuation of it, while the first link just seems to have info on all the locations {what to find there, mouse movements, etc}
Meme
:GOSH what great posts! hints, links to walkthroughs instead of blurting everything out, civilised requests for help, birthday wishes -- can this really be Lazy Laces? (being a Yank [or "Septic" in Strine], i always think that "Lazy Laces" sounds like a cattle brand for a Texas ranch...)
i will keep plugging away at this game, despite the fact that i have accomplished exactly nothing except rustling the scenery, the Tab key only works some of the time, and i'm extremely irritated by how easy it is to unintentionally change scenes or open the window to the TV show. television, pfaugh.
Canadian history lessons forever!
Naomi
:sheesh!!!! could sum1 actually tell me about this stuuupid game?!
Nicole
:Hoi, I'm definitely lost. Slowly making my way through the forest but missing a few items I've heard mentioned so far...and unable to do anything with any of them! Oh well. A few more minutes of waving my mouse around in an attempt to open doors in bushes or footprints in sand, and I'll have to use that walkthrough >.>
Pixie
:Dear Nicole: Luckily I posted one!
Dear Naomi: read my previous post.
Dear Meme : did this post ruin it for you? LOL
Tabby
:So I hadn't gone everywhere, apparently. :P
And now I'm quite disappointed.
Silmarien
:This comment has nothing to do with I am Lost but I didn't know the right place to post it and I wanted to share with you this game i found. Hope you'll like it, it's Sarbakan stuff, which always means good challenges.

Angie
:finished, wasnt that difficult, but enjoyable lol
Silmarien
:Wow Angie i'm not even able to get out of the house! How did you do it?
Mike
:I don't watch the show--have they ever actually had the raft at the end on the show?
Sam
:Has anyone played that Billy Bob Abduction posted above? The only thing I can't seem to do is get upstairs in the house. Any hints? Thanks!
Ned Flanders
:jorja!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ned Flanders
:i love jorja i like her ass
Ned Flanders
