I mentioned a while back that one of the projects I worked on was up for an award - well we were actually up for two awards. The project actually came second in one, but in the Information Management Awards which we attended en-masse we didn't get anywhere beyond being nominated. Still a good time was had by all as you can see from the pictures. Being a black-tie event we were, of course, all on our best behaviour.

Steve: I don't what upsets me more - that that film was the first thing that you thought of, or that I picked up the reference before I even linked to the picture. We should both be ashamed of ourselves.

At the risk of sounding like an elitist jerk, your employer's <a href=http://www.randall-lyons.co.uk/swordfish2/website/index.asp?section_id=HM target=_blank>web site</a> is pretty dull. And before you say it, I am aware that <a href=http://www.phillydad.com target=_blank>phillydad</a> isn't an audio-visual masterpiece either. :) Especially if you use <a href=http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ target=_blank>Firefox</a> or <a href=http://www.opera.com/ target=_blank>Opera</a>. I can't figure out why the site shows up differently using either of those.

As it happens I totally agree - that design is well over 3 years old and is very MSIE centric. I've actually been doing some work on a redesign - and if my work makes it to the live site I can reassure you of cross browser compatibility.

The photos were okay. How can I load all of your different backgrounds, or choose the one I want on the site? They always seem to be changing...

I'm just trying to find the right one - they'll settle down soon.

Betty, the Los Angelez Gangstaz are just upset because they didn't even get nominated for an Information Management Systems award. (and after all their hard work trying to achieve cross-browser compatibility too.) so don't be too hard on them. they'll probably cheer up after a nice cuppa.
