Hunting vigorously through the lazylaces archives for "point'n'click" unearthed the following results...

Brain Hotel
Visit the brain hotel with the same people that gave you a case of the crabs... not, as it appears, advice that means your next stop will be the doctor's surgery, but some more point'n'click gaming fun.

Scary Scavenger Hunt
More scary adventures, but this time with Garfield (yes he's still going), in the scary scavenger hunt. Once you're done with part one, part two offers more of the same. The stangest thing about these games is the huge doughnut craving you develop after about 10 minutes playing. I was actually in the car en-route to Tesco within seconds of completing part two.

Escape From The Coolsonian
And now a round up of some of the point'n'click-ery that's been keeping me occupied recently. First up some scary scooby doo capers in the escape from the coolsonian, and if that isn't enough try some horror on the high seas. Yoinks!

Le Bureau d'Anode & Cathode
Soon there won't be on-line games which don't involve escaping a room (okay, an office in this case) with lots of point'n'clicking. I'm running out of ways to describe these things, but I'm still loving them. Nice graphics, shame about the lack of audio, in Le Bureau. By the way, I'm escapee #1882 apparently. What's your number? [ta Incog Neato].

Little Lost Head
I have no idea what this game is really called as all the text describing it is in Japanese, but the idea of the thing is that a little girl's head floats away on a balloon and you have to help her retrieve it (no, really). So I've christened the game &quotLittle Lost Head" for want of a better name.

That aside it's rather a nice example of another point'n'click game, it reminds me of a cross between samorost and chasm, and it's really rather cute (if you ignore the fact that you're controlling a decapitated girl's body).

As usual feel free to post a comment if you get stuck, although I should warn you that I'm currently stuck on level 3 myself (why doesn't the pattern the bird shows me work?), but perhaps the very kind Incog Neato can help since they mailed me the link (have you completed it Incog?).

Note: mail me at the address at the bottom of the page for a downloaded copy of the game if the link isn't working.

99 Rooms
Not one, not two, but 99 rooms of flash point'n'click adventuring. It's not difficult, but it is plentiful, beautiful, atmospheric and spooky. Be sure to turn your sound up, and be careful of shivers down your spine and jumping out of your skin in a couple of the rooms. Excellent.

Update: currently you can't get into any one of the 99 rooms because their bandwidth limit as been exceeded, I highly recommend checking back though, it's well worth it.

A Case Of The Crabs
I need another point'n'click flash adventure game to whittle away my time like I need a hole in the head, but a case of the crabs is a gem, has a real sense of humour, and is in lovely old skool black'n'white from back in the days before flash animation got all modernised with technological marvels like colour [thanks daisy].

Milki W
A(nother) cute little point'n'click adventure game with some nice quirky bits of gameplay to waste away the time while you wait for part 3 of the Crimson room (the Blue Chamber?) [thanks Lisa].

Viridian Room (AKA Crimson Room 2)
I'm too darn busy to post anything, but I had to make an exception here. Take your phone off the hook and put your life on hold, the sequel to Crimson Room is here in the form of the Viridian Room. I'm only just working my way through it now, but feel free to start up a help forum in the comments to this thread as before. My one top tip so far is to peak through the keyhole to see part 1. *joy*

Update: The site doesn't seem to be up the whole time, it must be getting a lot of hits, if you can't reach the game first time around try again later.

Spoiler: See the comments for this post for help, alternatively you can find a full Viridian Room walkthru over at nordinho.

Kharon4a
Yet another point'n'click on-line adventure game. Will we ever get tired of them? Maybe, but not for a while yet. Many thanks to Pondus for suggesting Kharon4a in the comment thread for Droom as the new adventure game du jour. Kharon4a has the usual "escape the room" basis, but there are four of them, and they have a genetic engineering theme. Also the game seems to be Anglo-Norwegian. Quite a bizarre background for a game, but the trickiness is pretty addictive. Hopefully help and advice will once again be dispensed in the comments if required, starting with me as I think I've almost completed it but I've got myself a bit stuck.

You know the drill now. On-line adventure game. Point'n'click a lot, collect the objects, escape the room...need I go on? Seriously though this looks like a good one if you can handle any more of this type of game [big linky thanks to nexus].
