The latest game in the Halo series makes a slight departure from usual FPS motif of the previous games in the franchise with Halo & Pixy seeing you rescuing a cat from tree with the aide of a couple of cute & adorable little characters. Is this a brave move that could increase Xbox sales 10 times faster than Kinect ever could? Or is this just a cute diversion from pastel games that was release whilst I was offline? You decide... Searching the internets with my trusty chrome translations in place I believe Mitoza is something to do with DNA and cells splitting or some such thing, which makes as much sense to me as this randomly repeating and revolving web toy thing (nb. not a game!) that is called also Mitoza [subbed by ejay & gal].

Take part in the eternal battle (where eternal = the length of a short coffee break) against hammers as you try to reunite Mr Magnet and Neil The Nail in this very easy (it does actually get more difficult, but not by much, after the first couple of tutorial levels), but cute, 'click in the correct order' style game that you will.... Okay, who am I trying to kid? All I really want to say is: Stop! Hammer time...

You might think that with it's back and white, wire-frame, isometric graphics that Tutsuo In The Room 2 might be a little cold and clinical, but any game that lets you have a snooze in the bed when all that 'figuring out how to escape the room' stuff gets a bit too much is alright in my book. Ahhhh... snoozing in bed, how I miss you! But now I can virtually nap whilst still sitting at my computer. *Bonus*. And I don't even have to buy myself a laptop, net-book, smart phone, honeycomb pad thing to do it... and it's a game too, and it's free. That's what I call value folks.
UPDATE: I should have also said, but got distracted by waxing lyrical on the subject of naps, that episode 1 of this game is posted here.

And I should also mention Dark Visions which I know Jen is currently enjoying whenever she gets a couple of free minutes to play, and which to me looks like a rather nice point'n'click adventure thing, with some pleasant graphics, that should keep you occupied at least until Ken & Watson slug it out tonight...

Returning to post games on Valentines Day may not have been the best timing on my part (as romantic as sitting at the computer writing about games can be), but anyway.... whilst Jen and I are getting ready for a candlelit dinner, I'll leave y'all with the best game to arrive in the lazylaces office whilst we've been away: Submachine 7: The Core, which you can either enjoy playing, re-playing, or moaning about how you played it ages ago. Whichever takes your fancy.

Before you play Toaster Dismantlement remember to unplug it, or at least make sure you are wearing really thick rubber soled shoes or something... [subbed by revsjessi].

The content of the web site "Cats In Sinks" is pretty much self explanatory, although why such a thing exists is much harder to define, and is almost certainly a question historians in the 22nd century will be debating at length... [subbed by Catraven].

In Super Sneaky Spy Guy Escape 2.0 you have to escape the beach house without exploding your ankle bracelet... because the kind of people that will strap explosives to you tend to feel a bit guilty and lock you in rather nice locations to make themselves feel better about the whole exploding body parts thing [subbed by Selfdefiant].
